Originally from Kinston, NC, I have vacationed on Bogue Banks my entire life…always dreaming of the day when I would make it my permanent home. After graduating from East Carolina University and gaining life and work experiences for several years, I made that dream become reality. Loving the coast as I do, I would love to help you make your own dreams come true. While earning my Brokers license, I worked as a real estate paralegal, gaining valuable experience in real estate transactions. In addition, I was fortunate to have my mother, Emma Lee Singleton, as my mentor in this field. Working closely alongside her early in my career proved invaluable as her years of experience and knowledge have helped me to develop a special insight into the real estate market of the Crystal Coast. Continuing to help me broaden my perspective of this market, I worked at Grande Villas in Salter Path as a Project Coordinator, marketing and selling the island’s newest luxury condominiums. Most recently, to round out my knowledge of the local market, I worked as a property manager for five years gaining a vast knowledge of the vacation rental market before transitioning over to the sales part of the business. As a real estate sales broker for Emerald Isle Realty, when you choose to work with me in making your coastal home dreams come true, I promise to focus on your needs. I will assist you in your real estate transactions by walking you through the process, and explaining each and every step along the way. I will keep you updated on the current market trends and advise you honestly and openly. We will seek the property that is most advantageous for you. Ultimately, I hope, with my varied experiences, to offer you all of the right tools to make an informed decision regarding your valuable investment. Put your trust in me to offer seamless assistance to you for every aspect of your home purchase or sale.

The Crystal Coast in North Carolina holds a special place in my heart, as I've been fortunate enough to enjoy a family beach house here my whole life. In 2003, I decided to embrace this beautiful area as my permanent residence. My husband and I love spending quality time with our friends, family, and our two dogs, Tillie and Marshall. During my leisure hours, I indulge in gardening and expanding my extensive, albeit somewhat impractical, knowledge of movies and TV shows. Our summer days are often filled with adventures on the water, whether it's boating to a nearby island or embarking on a moonlit kayaking journey. My husband, Steve, is an exceptional grill master who excels at preparing fresh, local seafood and steaks for our delicious dinners. Meanwhile, I take it upon myself to explore all the local dining options, ensuring I can offer the best recommendations to my clients and others. Some of my personal favorites include the amazing dishes at Amos Mosquitoes, the smash burgers at By the Bridge, the lettuce wraps at Coastal Haze, the crab cakes at Caribsea, the BBQ and chicken at Bogue House, and those irresistible hushpuppies at T&W Oyster Bar.
